Pia and the moon

Pia is a tiny coral polyp with a big dream: to build the greatest coral in the world. Each night, her friend the Moon shows her wondrous structures; each day, Pia shapes her own. Some reef neighbors doubt her—until a storm sweeps her coral away. Seeing Pia’s tears, the reef bands together to rebuild, this time as one. A gentle tale of architecture, friendship, and community—told by the ocean’s smallest great architects.

Bobby is a young blue-footed booby living on a small island where his colony struggles as fish grow scarce due to big trawlers. Never fond of fish himself, Bobby teams up with his best friend to fly to the mainland in search of new food. After tasting many fruits—some delicious, some awful—they discover an easy-to-carry, widely available fruit to bring home. Back on the island, the colony adopts it alongside fish, adding a reliable new food source that helps them thrive.

Aesop’s Fable: The Two Swans and the Tortoise

Two swans offer to carry a talkative tortoise to a new home by holding a stick between them—if he promises to stay silent and bite down tight. As they soar over a village, the tortoise can’t resist replying to the crowd below. He opens his mouth to speak, loses his grip, and falls. The lesson: wisdom means knowing when to hold your tongue.
